In a caring Christian atmosphere, it is our goal to create a warm and happy place for preschoolers to learn. As we bridge the gap from home to school, we strive to help each child develop a good self-image while building social skills in a preschool setting.
Sensory, motor, perceptual, math and language skills are introduced through materials and activities which are both child-centered and teacher-directed. Projects and activities are planned which emphasizes the process rather than the product, fostering a sense of accomplishment and pride.
Since children learn through play and movement, classroom routines encourage active involvement, meaningful experimentation and reinforcement through repetition. Schedules are designed which balance structure and free choice, as well as active and quite times.
Each child is treasured and respected as an individual. Therefore, we begin working from the level each child has attained and move forward. We believe by allowing children to experience their own stage of development, and by helping the feel success without pressure, we instill a love and excitement for learning.
